The job of a driller is to drill in a safe and effective manner. The driller is expected to complete a variety of different tasks, they may vary on a day-to-day basis. The driller will work closely with the locator and crew member(s). To succeed in this role, you must have knowledge of running a drill and have a Class A CDL.
Position Responsibilities:
- Run the directional drill
- Load materials and/or equipment
- Clean/restoration of job sites
- Keep equipment clean
- Fill out daily pre-trip inspections on any vehicle you drive
- Complete all job paperwork
- Work in different temperatures and changing weather conditions
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience with 5+ years in the construction field
- Class A CDL
- Construction background
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read & understand maps
- Good communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Teamwork, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
